About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly expanding global FinTech organization operating at the intersection of technology and financial services. With a strong international presence and a focus on innovation, the company is currently building a new SSC structure in Gdańsk, creating opportunities to shape processes and drive operational excellence. The target working model is 3 days per week from the office.

Job Description

• Prepare draft analysis, supporting schedules and variance commentary for management reporting
• Validate data across accounting, reporting and upstream processes, ensuring completeness and consistency
• Support in‑month accounting activities including postings, data entry and follow-up of queries
• Support period‑end close by preparing reconciliation inputs, reviewing schedules and ensuring documentation completeness
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation and audit trails in line with SOPs and controls
• Gather data and coordinate follow-up on accounting and reporting queries
• Escalate issues where root causes are unclear and support resolution process
• Identify recurring data quality and process issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Support Workday Financials transition, including data validation, testing support and issue tracking

The Successful Applicant

• Fluent English (required); Czech is an advantage
• Experience in accounting, finance operations or similar role
• Experience supporting month‑end close, reconciliations or reporting
• Experience working with Czech and/or Slovak entities is a strong advantage
• Ability to work with data, validate information and identify inconsistencies
• Comfortable working with SOPs, checklists and control frameworks
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (preferred)
• Progress toward ACCA/CIMA is an advantage
