Programmer UE4/5 (Mid Level)

Hey everyone! We're Crunching Koalas and you may recognize us because of:

• The Gap Darkwood Butcher or Lichtspeer , so some of the games that we ported and published on consoles;
• Inkulinati Thronebreaker Frostpunk This War of Mine Ruiner , so some of the titles we ported and brought to consoles;
• or MouseCraft , a game which we developed by ourselves.

We are looking for Programmer to join our team.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience on a similar position;
• good English;
• good knowledge of UE4/5 or C++;
• code samples or at least one released title;

Responsibilities:

Porting games for all major platforms available:

• Switch;
• Switch 2;
• PlayStation 5;
• Xbox Series X | S;
• PlayStation 4;
• Xbox One;
• PC: Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store.

Co-developing games and game related software for Koala's publishing and our partners :

• implementing gameplay and engine elements;
• providing optimization services;
• creating digital soundtracks, themes, artbooks, etc. from the code side;

Providing code and console consultancy services :

• consulting porting topics for our publishing partners;
• creating tutorials and documentation for new console specific features we implement;
• sharing important knowledge with teammates in lecture sessions;

Pluses:

• knowledge of any of the console's porting processes;
• experience in one or more: rendering pipeline, shaders, sound, FMOD, Wwise, memory management, Unity (C#);
• experience in creating multiplayer games;
