Systems Programmer Analyst l - Java

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test components of the Transfer Agency Investor Onboarding system.
• Support business analysts in reaching a common understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate the systems developed in‑house with vendor solutions.
• Resolve issues reported in test and on production systems.
• Enhance technical specifications and documentation, including data modelling, data‑flow diagramming, screen design and workflow analysis.
• Participate in the design process, system and UAT testing, and creation of deployment scripts.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers and specialists across multiple teams and locations to ensure projects meet business needs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Java and related technologies/frameworks experience for building multi‑tiered service‑oriented web applications (Spring MVC / Spring Boot, JMS, JPA, JAX‑*)
• Knowledge and application of SOLID principles.
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST).
• Understanding of basic data‑modeling principles.
• Strong foundation in Object‑Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
• Ability to write clean, modular code with replaceable modules and layers.
• Experience designing code for unit testing.
• Practical skills with relational database technologies.
