Position Description
We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join our TIDES group. This role is designed for students with high academic potential who want to grow in Node.js technologies and modern cloud architectures. The position requires attention to code quality, excellent academic results, and strong analytical data skills

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Implementing system logic in JavaScript / TypeScript using Node.js, Tailwind
• Creating and integrating with REST APIs (JSON standard).
• SQL database operations (query syntax, joins, aggregations).
• Designing and understanding data flows (ETL) and system integrations.
• Working in an Agile team using Git.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Master’s degree student (2nd cycle) or final-year engineering student.
• Grade Point Average (GPA) above 4.5.
• Knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of SSR mechanisms and the React library.
• Analytical thinking skills supported by a GitHub portfolio.
• Fluency in English and Polish.

Nice to Have:

• AI/ML basics (working with models, APIs).
• Basic cloud knowledge (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Knowledge of security (IAM, SSO) or DevOps (Docker)

Poszukujemy osoby na staż programistyczny backend do grupy TIDES. Rola dedykowana jest osobom studiującym o wysokim potencjale akademickim, które chcą rozwijać się w technologiach Node.js oraz nowoczesnych architekturach chmurowych. Stanowisko wymaga dbałości o jakość kodu, bardzo dobrych wyników w nauce oraz umiejętności analitycznego podejścia do danych.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Implementacja logiki systemowej w języku JavaScript / TypeScript przy użyciu Node.js.
• Tworzenie i integracja z REST API (standard JSON).
• Wykonywanie operacji na bazach danych SQL (składnia zapytań, joiny, agregacje).
• Projektowanie i analiza przepływów danych (ETL) oraz integracji między systemami.
• Praca w zespole zwinnym (Agile) z wykorzystaniem narzędzi Git.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Status osoby studiującej na studiach II stopnia lub na ostatnim roku studiów inżynierskich.
• Średnia ocen z toku studiów powyżej 4,5.
• Znajomość Node.js oraz JavaScript/TypeScript, Tailwind
• Podstawowe zrozumienie mechanizmów SSR oraz biblioteki React.
• Zdolność analitycznego myślenia poparta portfolio w serwisie GitHub.
• Biegła znajomość języka polskiego i angielskiego

Mile widziane:

• Podstawy AI/ML (korzystanie z modeli, API).
• Podstawowa znajomość rozwiązań chmurowych (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Wiedza z zakresu bezpieczeństwa (IAM, SSO) lub DevOps (Docker).
