Job Description

  • Review and support the posting of complex OTC-related accounting entries, including trade spend, returns accruals, and reserves
  • Perform and review reconciliations related to disputes, deductions, trade spend, and returns balances, ensuring timely identification of discrepancies
  • Analyse root causes of complex disputes and deductions, and coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to drive resolution
  • Support the preparation and review of OTC reporting and analytics, identifying trends, risks, and areas requiring escalation
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to clarify accounting treatment and resolve issues
  • Identify risks, judgment areas, and data quality concerns, escalating appropriately to the OTC Manager
  • Contribute to standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across OTC processes
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and records to ensure audit readiness and data integrity
  • The Successful Applicant

    • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese , along with strong English communication skills
    • Experience in trade finance or commercial finance , ideally within a multinational environment
    • Hybrid mindset combining finance operations and business understanding
    • Solid understanding of revenue recognition, trade accruals, and trade spend processes
    • Experience managing trade accruals , including validation and supporting sign-off processes
    • Ability to analyse and resolve complex issues, manage escalations, and work with multiple stakeholders
    • Familiarity with processes related to sales returns, deductions, sell-out data, and promotional activities
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data
    • Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement
