Principal Data Consultant with Azure

• At least 6 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer, Lead Data Engineer, or Data Architect
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
• 4+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure
• 4+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory
• Strong experience in data analysis and data modelling
• Experience designing and implementing semantic layers for analytical solutions
• Strong expertise in SQL
• Strong expertise in Python
• Experience with Spark / PySpark
• Experience designing modern analytical and data warehousing solutions
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and leading technical discussions
• Excellent communication skills and experience in client-facing environments

Nice to have

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Apache Superset
• Experience in consulting environments
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analitics and Microsoft Fabric
