Director, Commercial Training & Sales Enablement (CTSE)

Baxter seeks a Director of Commercial Training & Sales Enablement to lead strategic development and execution of training programs across Western Europe and Advanced Surgery markets. This role partners with senior leadership to build comprehensive learning strategies, oversee sales force and leadership development, and drive measurable business outcomes for approximately 500 sales employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial training strategy aligned to global standards and regional business objectives across Western Europe and Advanced Surgery
• Lead development of sales representative, sales leader, and clinical specialist training programs in partnership with global centers of excellence
• Oversee new hire onboarding, certification processes, and sales leadership development programs focused on coaching and performance management
• Partner with marketing, medical affairs, and commercial leadership on launch readiness and field capability for new products and services
• Establish and monitor training effectiveness metrics, analytics dashboards, and performance insights to demonstrate business impact and identify capability gaps

Requirements

• Strategic leadership experience in commercial training or sales enablement functions
• Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive training strategies aligned with business objectives
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external training partners and resources
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnership skills at executive levels
• Demonstrated expertise in sales force development, onboarding, and certification programs
• Experience with training analytics, data interpretation, and measuring learning effectiveness
• Knowledge of sales methodologies, product launch readiness, and organizational change management
