MDE/MDI Deployment Coordinator

We’re looking for an experienced MDE / MDI Deployment Coordinator to join a large-scale international cybersecurity programme focused on the global deployment of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong Project Management / IT Delivery background who enjoys coordinating technical teams, managing complex deployments and working with stakeholders across different countries and time zones. Your role You’ll take ownership of one or more deployment waves, ensuring countries and technical teams are prepared and that activities remain aligned with the agreed milestones and timelines. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating MDE and MDI deployment waves across multiple countries and domains Working closely with the global Core Team, regional/local IT teams, Microsoft and external suppliers Managing deployment plans, milestones, dependencies, priorities and actions using Azure DevOps Facilitating deployment meetings and daily stand-ups during production deployment Monitoring readiness and progress across local teams Identifying and managing risks, blockers, dependencies and resource constraints Escalating potential delivery issues when necessary Providing clear status reports, actions, ownership and deadlines to programme management Coordinating change and communication activities with local teams Supporting the transition from pilot activities into large-scale production deployment What we’re looking for 4–5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator or in a similar delivery role Previous experience managing IT Infrastructure projects, ideally involving cybersecurity Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and stakeholders Ability to manage several activities, dependencies and priorities simultaneously At least 1–2 years of practical Agile delivery coordination experience Good practical knowledge of Azure DevOps as a project/workstream management tool Excellent English, both written and spoken Confidence facilitating meetings and communicating with senior stakeholders Strong organisational skills, autonomy and a delivery-focused mindset ⭐ Nice to have Previous exposure to any of the following would be valuable, but isn't mandatory: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI) Endpoint Security / EDR / XDR IAM / Identity environments Microsoft Intune SCCM / MECM Active Directory Group Policy Large-scale endpoint or server deployments Global or geographically distributed IT teams Important: this is a delivery coordination role, so hands-on configuration or deployment of MDE/MDI is not required. The environment The programme operates across Europe, North and South America, and APAC. You'll be collaborating remotely with regional and country IT teams, cybersecurity and infrastructure specialists, Microsoft, suppliers, consulting partners and programme stakeholders. Flexibility to collaborate across time zones is important. Candidates based within the region they will support are preferred, although candidates in other regions can also be considered if they can accommodate the relevant working hours.
