Tech Leader / Backend Architecture

We are currently looking for a Tech Leader / Backend Architecture to join Platform Squad, a newly established team responsible for building a securities investment data platform and API layer from the ground up, including data pipelines, a strategy engine, and external APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of system architecture leadership experience (securities, banking, asset management, fintech, quant, etc.)
• Experience designing or implementing systems that execute, compose, and rebalance investment strategies
• Experience implementing data models into an actual production system
• Experience improving team workflows using AI development tools (Cursor, Claude Code) and agents
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang and TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the financial regulatory environment
• Understanding of on-chain systems/smart contracts

Responsibilities

• Design and build a data platform architecture based on securities investment data (quotes, executions, security master)
• Design and implement an engine that composes multiple securities into a single investment strategy and rebalances it
• Build real-time event pipelines
• Design, implement, and operate APIs that expose investment data and trading functions externally
