Development Engineer (Mechanical Engineering) (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Participation in pre- and series development projects
• Development of new modules and parts (sheet metal, cast iron, etc.)
• Planning, preparing and introduction of product changes according to defined strategy
• Creation of technical documentation 2D/3D (Catia)
• Application of innovative development methods (model-based engineering)
• Planning and execution of developmental tests
• Close cooperation within R&D organization and other departments
• Support running production in area of selected parts and modules

Our requirements

• Completed technical studies, e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronic or similar
• Experience in creating 2D/3D documentation (Catia or similar)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in designing metal or cast iron parts
• Basic project management skills
• Independent, systematic and analytical way of working
• Strong teamwork capability and the motivation to integrate into our agile team
• Advanced (B2 minimum) communication skills in English or/and German is a must

Optional

• Good knowledge of the model-based development approach
• Knowledge of sheet metal production and forming processes
