About the Role We are looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Developer with strong hands-on experience in application development and the Yocto ecosystem. You will develop and integrate user-space software in C and C++, maintain embedded Linux builds and Board Support Packages, and support the bring-up and debugging of new hardware platforms. The role combines application-level development with lower-level system configuration and practical work with embedded devices. Your Responsibilities Develop and maintain C and C++ applications for Embedded Linux systems. Build multithreaded, asynchronous, and event-driven application components. Configure software builds using CMake and create Python tools for automation, testing, and validation. Integrate MQTT communication, JSON data exchange, SQLite3, and systemd services. Develop and maintain Yocto recipes, BSPs, and MACHINE and DISTRO configurations. Configure and customise the Linux kernel, U-Boot, and Device Tree files. Support hardware bring-up, system integration, debugging, and root-cause analysis. Work with Git, code review, and CI/CD pipelines. What We're Looking For Strong experience with Embedded Linux and user-space development in C and C++. Experience with multithreaded, asynchronous, and event-driven applications. Practical knowledge of CMake, Python, MQTT, JSON, systemd, and SQLite3. Hands-on experience with Yocto, including recipes, package integration, and MACHINE and DISTRO configuration. Experience with BSPs, Linux kernel configuration, U-Boot, and Device Tree. Experience bringing up and debugging new embedded hardware. Ability to use an oscilloscope, logic analyser, and multimeter. Independence, good communication skills, and confidence working in a senior-level remote role. Strong Advantages Knowledge of Git and experience working in teams that use code review. Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI or Jenkins. Knowledge of Docker. Experience with ARM Cortex-A architectures. Being based in or near Wrocław. Why Join Consid?
