Location: Fully Remote Employment Type: Freelance / Contract Salary: $45 – $65/hour

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Competitive Programmers to contribute to the development of next-generation AI systems. This role combines advanced programming expertise with cutting-edge artificial intelligence by creating high-quality programming challenges that help train AI models.

No previous AI experience is required. If you have a strong background in competitive programming and C++, your expertise is exactly what we're looking for.

Responsibilities

• Design original competitive programming problems that evaluate advanced algorithmic reasoning.
• Develop reliable reference solutions using C++.
• Create comprehensive test cases that cover edge cases and ensure solution accuracy.
• Build and maintain custom validation tools and checkers for problems with multiple valid outputs.
• Review problem quality, identify inconsistencies, and improve assessment content when needed.
• Document problem logic, expected solutions, and evaluation criteria clearly.
• Collaborate with remote teams to deliver high-quality content within project timelines.

Requirements

• Strong background in competitive programming.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ .
• Excellent knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Excellent written English communication.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while meeting project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience participating in competitions such as ICPC , Codeforces , AtCoder , or similar platforms.
• Previous experience creating programming problems, test cases, or online judge content.
• Familiarity with automated testing, validators, or checker development.
• Experience reviewing technical content or educational programming materials is considered an advantage.
