As a Senior Data & Reporting Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution focused on innovative data solutions. You will help design, develop, and optimize data repositories and reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making across the bank, leveraging cloud technologies and advanced data architectures. Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

Your responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex data projects, including developing performance KPIs, data models, and ensuring alignment with business requirements and standards.
• Perform data discovery, cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure high-quality data assets.
• Match, link, and integrate datasets across multiple sources for comprehensive insights.
• Ensure secure and efficient movement of data from sources to targets within cloud environments.
• Develop and deliver complex reports and dashboards using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DataStudio) and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs, process logic, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Identify internal process improvements and drive efficiencies within data workflows.
• Document processes thoroughly, creating clear roadmaps and descriptions for team and stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor project progress, manage risks, and facilitate team discussions to ensure timely delivery.

Our requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in data roles, including SQL development, data analysis, data engineering, and data management.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL programming and relational database systems.
• Strong business English communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in Polish.
• A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with the ability to deliver results independently.

Optional

• Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
• Certifications or experience related to cloud technologies or data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery and DataStudio — experience with ETL and data warehousing principles.
