Launch Quality Engineer

For our Client we are currently looking for an experienced professional for the position of Launch Quality Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product and project quality throughout development and launch phases, working closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality governance throughout product development and launch phases.
• Assess project quality readiness at key milestones, ensuring compliance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, monitor, and escalate quality-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support and oversee the application of quality tools and methodologies, including FMEA, APQP, and risk management processes.
• Coordinate and support PPAP/PPA activities to ensure successful product launches.
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and ensure proper closure of quality issues prior to production handover.
• Act as the primary quality escalation point for customers during development and launch phases.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing launch risks and enhancing process quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience within a Quality function in a manufacturing environment; automotive experience is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, and risk management techniques.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), product launches, or project-based quality management.
• Ability to analyze data, assess risks, and make quality-driven decisions.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional and international teams.
• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
