Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Design & Engineering

We are looking for a well‑rounded Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design projects for complex turbomachinery auxiliary systems. The Senior Mechanical Engineer plays a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical solutions supporting upgrade activities. The role combines hands‑on engineering with technical leadership, translating system concepts into manufacturable designs while collaborating across teams to ensure high‑quality, reliable, and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead challenging technical projects, including personal execution, technical coordination, and advising others.
• Assign work internally and externally, checking and evaluating results.
• Develop and extend knowledge to less experienced engineers.
• Identify, coordinate, and collaborate with team members to drive projects and innovative solutions that bring value to customers.
• Develop, deliver, and lead technical reviews and presentations to customers, executive leadership, and the broader team.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Perform, coordinate, and manage day‑to‑day project progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical project management and coordination of single‑contributor teams.
• Strong background in mechanical design roles and/or the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as Siemens NX; knowledge of ANSYS or CESAR II is a plus.
• Exposure to project engineering, project management, and operations.
• Ability to perform, coordinate, and manage day‑to‑day project progress, ensuring timely delivery.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid work model: normally three days on site in Warsaw and two days of home office per week. Working flexible hours to accommodate productivity patterns.

Compensation

Pay range: PLN 208,000 – 286,000. No provisions of any collective agreement relating to pay will be applied to this position.
