Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize a Windows desktop application used by field teams to capture and organize digitized historical records.
• Fix user-reported defects and troubleshoot application issues.
• Resolve nightly and automated build failures.
• Support new application version releases, builds, and deployments.
• Work across modern and legacy portions of the codebase.
• Partner with the security team to align the application with organizational security standards.
• Collaborate directly with the client engineering team as an embedded engineer.

Requirements

• Strong C# and .NET experience, including advanced C# features and nullable reference types.
• Experience with WPF, XAML, data binding, styles, custom controls, and CommunityToolkit.Mvvm.
• Experience with Entity Framework, database-first development, LINQ, DbContext, and migrations.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, LocalDB, database design, and query and performance optimization.
• Experience with dependency injection using Autofac and interface-driven application design.
• Experience with Visual Studio and MSBuild, including project configuration, debugging, profiling, and build troubleshooting.
• Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy Windows applications.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including resolving user-reported defects.
• Experience supporting builds, deployments, and version releases.
• Ability to investigate and resolve nightly and automated build failures.
• Jenkins or GitHub Actions and CI/CD build pipeline experience is a plus.
• Application security and remediation experience is a plus.
• Prior legacy .NET modernization experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with C and/or Java codebases is a plus.
• Availability for full overlap with Mountain Time business hours and eligibility to work from Latin America.
