Responsibilities
- Preparing large steel and metal components for painting (cleaning, degreasing, sanding)
- Surface preparation for painting (priming, filling) with attention to anti-corrosion protection
- Masking and securing areas not intended for painting
- Painting using the airless method
- Applying 2K acrylic paints and industrial protective coatings
- Multi-layer painting (primer, intermediate, and top layers)
- Painting components for amusement attractions and roller coasters
- Processing complex shapes and hard-to-reach areas
- Controlling the thickness of coatings and drying times according to guidelines
- Quality control and removal of paint defects (e.g., drips, orange peel, inclusions)
- Finishing and polishing surfaces
- Preparing and mixing painting materials according to manufacturer instructions
- Documenting completed work and control results
- Transporting and setting elements in the painting booth
- Collaborating with the welding and production departments
- Cleaning and maintaining airless painting equipment
- Removing minor faults in painting equipment
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and environmental protection
- Maintaining order and safety at the workplace
- Assisting with simple production tasks
Requirements
- Proficiency in German (minimum conversational level)
- Professional experience
- Experience with airless painting method
