About the project
We are looking for a passionate Manual Tester to join our team in Cracow, focusing on high-end telecommunication technologies. You will work on the NTN project in collaboration with AST Space Mobile, enabling innovative satellite communication solutions based on the 3GPP LTE and 5G standards. This hybrid role offers a variety of tasks, lightweight processes, and direct contact with customers, making it both challenging and attractive.
Your responsibilities
- Analyzing features with respect to end-to-end purpose and functionality
- Designing test cases and scenarios based on requirements specifications
- Integrating and verifying features in a customer-close, end-to-end test lab with real equipment
- Automating test cases for regression tests to ensure high product quality
- Troubleshooting software bugs through proper pre-analysis and verifying fixes delivered by development
- Cooperating closely with Architecture and Development teams
Our requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing
- Strong knowledge of telecommunication protocols and IP networking
- Proficiency in using Linux and Git
- Experience in laboratory testing and analytical thinking
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Advanced level of English
- Visits in the Kraków office 2 times per week
Optional
- Familiarity with LTE and 5G standards
- Experience in troubleshooting IP and telecom networks software and hardware
- Knowledge of test automation and experience with Python or Bash Shell
