C++ Software Engineer (Associate or Experienced Level)

Position Responsibilities

• Utilizing modern computer programming techniques, tools, languages and agile software development methodologies to build software for Boeing systems
• Performing engineering activities including architecture, requirements, development, integration and testing
• Proactively contributing to project execution plans to set and effectively achieve operational goals
• Project estimation and planning
• Influencing, innovating and continuously improving the software engineering process as well as quality, safety and reliability of products and services
• Collaborating proactively with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports to understand operational and performance expectations
• Cultivating a positive staff culture and team motivation

Basic Qualifications

• Proficiency in modern C++
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 2 (Associate): 2+ years of applicable experience
• Proficiency in one other programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
• Practical knowledge of Boost libraries
• Experience with Linux environment
• Collaborating in international projects
• Level 3 (Experienced): 5+ years of applicable experience
• Proficiency in one other programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
• Practical knowledge of Boost libraries
• Experience with Linux environment
• Collaborating in international projects

Additional Assets

• Experience with virtualization (Docker, WSL, Vagrant, etc.)
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools
• Experience in embedded programming
• Experience in software development for avionics systems or complex electronics products
• Experience with Bazel / BitBake
• Experience with REST API / gRPC / protobuf

Work Arrangement

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Gdańsk, Rzeszów or Warsaw office.
