Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud & Kubernetes Platform

For an international consulting company we're looking for a  Senior DevOps Engineer. The company primarily operates in Scandinavian countries such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Poland. It connects highly skilled professionals with organizations in need of specialized project support. With a broad network of contractors and innovative solutions, the company helps its clients execute projects across various industries, from IT to the technology sector.

Our client is a leading financial institution operating in the Nordic and Polish markets, focused on delivering modern digital banking solutions. The organization is currently building a new API Management platform to accelerate integrations both internally and with external partners.

The company leverages modern cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps practices to deliver scalable and secure solutions across its infrastructure landscape.

Your role will include:

• Designing and automating infrastructure provisioning (e.g. AWS EKS) using Terraform;
  
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for APIs and platform components;
  
• Managing and optimizing Kubernetes-based environments;
  
• Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions;
  
• Supporting development and deployment of API Gateway solutions (Kong Gateway);
  
• Contributing to the development of a new API Portal (catalogue platform);
  
• Automating operational tasks and improving system reliability;
  
• Participating in infrastructure migration and modernization initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering;
  
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker;
  
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code;
  
• Experience working with AWS cloud services;
  
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible;
  
• Experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus / Victoria Metrics / similar, Splunk;
  
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices;
  
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable, cloud-based environments.
  

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Kong Gateway or other API Gateway solutions;
  
• Experience in API Management platforms;
  
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
