This position will support the Regional Senior Inventory Accounting Manager EAI in the transformation of the finance organization. Transactional responsibilities include IFRS/USGAAP and Statutory inventory accounting, FIFO/LIFO/LCM inventory valuation, product costing, inventory adjustments, inventory flux analysis, and managing GRIR. Responsible for accounting support and problem solving for inventory functional areas.

A Day in the Life

•    Deliver efficient and effective transaction services in accordance with corporate policies and legislative requirements. 
•    Support and back up Inventory Accounting activities of the other team members.
•    Performing various accounting procedures to the proper statement of our inventory balances. 
•    Month end closing procedures & account reconciliations. 
•    Support and implement agreed process improvement initiatives within the regional process team. 
•    Implement and maintain desk procedures for area of responsibility. 
•    Perform SOX controls and maintain evidence of control for area of responsibility. 

You Bring This Value

•    Education as a qualified accountant, Apprenticeship in Economics or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar. 
•    At least 3 years of relevant experience in Inventory Accounting / Cost Accounting.
•    At least 3 years SAP experience (CO, MM and FI).
•    Fluent in English is required.
•    Ability to work according to specific procedures, to US GAAP/ STATUTORY accounting rules.
•    Ability to plan day to day activities in order to fulfill all the closing tasks on time.
•    Ability to quickly analyze problems so that immediate resolution can be undertaken.
•    Self-driven person who identifies opportunities for improvements.
•    Strong communication skills with all the other departments.
