Role Overview
Metsä Group’s Continuous Improvement Team seeks a Continuous Improvement Automation Specialist to enhance productivity and quality within the Finance Shared Service Center (SSC). The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts, tools, and applications to streamline business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline business processes.
- Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for automation that enhance productivity and quality.
- Administer local applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) to support operational needs.
- Maintain and document existing automation scripts to ensure reliability and continuity.
- Introduce best practices for automation, identify inefficiencies, and drive process improvements.
- Prepare agreed reports to support operations.
- Support the development of technical skills among other team members.
Key Qualifications and Attributes
- Knowledge of Power Automate Desktop and Cloud
- Knowledge of Power Apps
- Excel advanced skills
- Basic knowledge of any programming language
- General IT skills at a very good level
- Basic understanding of SAP FI module
- Familiarity with accounting processes and terminology
- 3+ years’ experience in Power Platform development
- Fluency in English required
Nice to Have
- Experience in AI services implementation
- Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate
- Experience with UiPath or Blue Prism
- Previous experience in SSC/BPO sector
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Knowledge of VBA, Python, Power Query
Location & Working Model
The position is based in Gdańsk, Poland. We operate a hybrid working model, with the flexibility of remote work combined with the expectation to be present in the office at least three days per week.
