Main missions:
- Follow and carry out tests of validation plans and test requests that are under his responsibility
- Participate in the development activities of laboratory resources or professions
Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1: Carry out tests:
- Carry out the tests according to the established schedule and in compliance with the procedures
- Carry out the tests in the presence of the customer if necessary.
- Check the correct operation of the test equipment and choose the appropriate measuring instruments
- Identify overload periods
- Analyse the results
- Participate in corrective actions and propose solutions
- Anticipate the need for parts and equipment and refer to the Validation Manager and/or the Group Leader
- Report errors and inconsistencies in procedures where appropriate
- Identify parts for testing and ensure their fate
- Clear, tidy and clean the work area at the end of the test
Responsibility 2: Write and follow up test reports :
- Write reports in order to comprehensively record the test conditions, illustrate the reports
- Follow up the reports, from drafting, through corrections, to dissemination. Respecting the department's and the service's distribution deadlines.
- For technicians who are responsible for following up a validation plan, fill in the summary pages.
Responsibility 3: Act to improve test facilities and working conditions:
- Report failures in test equipment and measuring instruments.
- Participate in the development of test equipment and methods
- Participate in the improvement of the working and storage space
Responsibility 4: Ensure the versatility of the group
- Maintain a multi-skill chart showing the skills acquired in testing
- Train employees in the tests of which they have knowledge
Responsibility 5: Environmental and Energy Safety
- Respect waste management and chemical product identification guidelines
- Participate in updating or defining safety and tidying instructions (5S).
Profile:
Personal Background
- Associate Degree
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of the materials plastic
- Significant internship in the automotive industry or a test laboratory
Job Technical skills
- Computer skills (office software and acquisition software)
- Practice of physical measurement (sensors, etc.)
- Handling of various tools (mechanics, electricity, etc)
