For our client, we are seeking a Tax Analyst to support the UK Tax Manager and Italian Tax Specialist across corporate tax and VAT activities within a multinational environment. The role will focus on tax compliance and reporting while working closely with finance teams, external advisers and shared service providers.

What will your tasks involve?

• Prepare and support corporate tax compliance, including analysis of capital allowances, R&D, transfer pricing, anti-hybrid and CFC matters.
• Support tax accounting activities, including tax provisions, reconciliations, journal postings and reporting.
• Prepare tax reporting schedules, including GAAP-to-GAAP and GAAP-to-Tax reconciliations.
• Manage VAT compliance activities, including VAT returns, reconciliations, Intrastat reporting and VAT queries.
• Liaise with external advisers, auditors, finance teams and shared service providers to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
• Support tax audits, governance activities and tax administration, including tax residency certificates, withholding tax documentation and purchase orders.
• Drive continuous improvement of tax processes, controls and reporting.

What we expect from you?

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in tax, finance or accounting within a multinational environment.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken is essential.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Exposure to major ERP system, preferably SAP R3.
• Big 4 and/or in-house tax experience advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Local GAAP and US GAAP reporting gained in a multinational company would be an asset.
