Java Developer

We ale looking for Java Developer (WildFly & Enterprise Applications) - 100% REMOTE Join a team developing and maintaining Java applications for customers in the industrial and manufacturing sector, with a particular focus on welding technologies. The role combines the enhancement of existing enterprise applications with the development of new features and solutions. You will work across Java, WildFly, ORM frameworks, RabbitMQ, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, containers, virtual machines, and AI-assisted development tools. The position is remote, with occasional access to customers’ private environments. Travel to the Nordics may be required once or twice per year. Project Technologies: Java, WildFly, ORM, RabbitMQ, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Containers, VMs, AWS Kiro / AI development tools Project Domain: Industrial / Manufacturing – Welding Team Composition: Senior/Expert Java Developers with strong Java and WildFly experience, ORM knowledge, database experience, and familiarity with infrastructure and AI-assisted development tools. Strong communication, English, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently are required. Other Details: Occasional travel to the Nordics (1–2 times per year) would be preferred. Welding domain knowledge is a plus but not mandatory. Requirements: - Senior/Expert-level Java development - Strong experience with WildFly and ORMs - Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies, preferably RabbitMQ - Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database - Good understanding of containers, virtual machines, and infrastructure - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AI development tools, particularly AWS Kiro - Good English communication skills - Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative mindset - Welding/domain knowledge is considered a plus Resposibilities: - Maintain and enhance existing Java applications - Develop new features and solutions based on business requirements - Investigate and fix software bugs and technical issues - Support application improvements and ongoing development activities - Provide software-related support to sales and project teams when required - Work with databases, messaging systems, containers, and infrastructure as part of development and maintenance activities - Use AI development tools effectively to improve development speed and efficiency - Occasionally access and work within customers' private environments - Collaborate remotely with the customer and wider team - Be available for occasional travel to the Nordics, ideally once or twice per year
