Your responsibilities

• Maintaining accounting books in compliance with Polish GAAP and group standards
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Leading month-end and year-end closing processes
• Preparing and reviewing tax declarations (VAT, CIT)
• Ensuring compliance with legal, tax and internal control requirements
• Cooperating with auditors, tax advisors and authorities
• Coordinating cooperation with SSC teams (AP, AR, GL)
• Performing account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
• Monitoring regulatory changes and implementing them in practice
• Preparing financial analyses and reports for management
• Driving process improvements, standardisation and automation initiatives

Our requirements

• Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics
• 5–8+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in independent accounting role
• Experience in full bookkeeping and closing processes
• Experience in international environment
• Experience in manufacturing companies (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting regulations (UoR)
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations (VAT, CIT, WHT)
• IFRS knowledge (required)
• Experience with tax reliefs (PSI) – nice to have
• ERP knowledge (SAP preferred)
• Advanced MS Excel
• Audit & compliance:
• Knowledge of internal controls and compliance frameworks
• Experience with external audits and tax authorities
• Understanding of SoD (Segregation of Duties)
• Good command of English and Polish (financial reporting & documentation)

Department purpose

Ensure accurate and compliant accounting operations in accordance with local statutory requirements and international group standards. Deliver timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) and support group reporting, budgeting, controlling, and cooperation with corporate finance functions.

Ensure accurate bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements and tax returns, and compliance with statutory and group reporting requirements.
