SAP ABAP BTP developer

We are currently seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join a project on a freelance basis for an initial 6–12 months. Location: Remote from Poland Project duration: 6–12 months Engagement: Freelance / Contract Responsibilities include: Design, develop and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP Objects (OO ABAP). Deliver technical developments and enhancements within SAP S/4HANA environments. Develop and optimise CDS Views, AMDP and OData services. Work with SAP BTP to develop and extend SAP applications and support cloud-based integrations. Develop and maintain SAP interfaces using APIs, IDocs, RFCs and BAPIs. Implement enhancements using BAdIs, user exits and enhancement frameworks. Support SAP Fiori applications and backend services. Perform code reviews, debugging, performance optimisation and root-cause analysis. Collaborate with functional consultants, architects and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions. Support technical design, testing, deployments and transport management. Ensure development quality, scalability, security and adherence to SAP best practices. Required skills and experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong experience with ABAP Objects, reports, enhancements, interfaces and SAP debugging. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA development. Practical experience with CDS Views, AMDP and modern ABAP development techniques. Experience with SAP BTP, including application development, extensions or integration scenarios. Knowledge of SAP BTP services and integration technologies, such as SAP Integration Suite and APIs. Experience developing and consuming OData services. Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 is an advantage. Experience with performance tuning, code optimisation and technical troubleshooting. Ability to independently analyse requirements and deliver technical solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills in a distributed project team.
