Job Description

Business Analysis & Process Design

• Gather and analyze business requirements across Finance and/or Supply Chain
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders
• Translate requirements into:
• user stories
• process flows
• functional specifications
• Identify opportunities for:
• automation
• standardization
• process optimization

Functional & Technical Solution Design (D365 F&O)

• Map business processes to standard D365 F&O functionality
• Collaborate with Solution Architect on solution design decisions
• Work with developers (X++, integrations) to ensure proper implementation
• Define:
• system configuration
• workflows
• business rules

Finance Domain (if applicable)

• General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management
• Financial reporting, closing processes, compliance

Supply Chain Domain (if applicable)

• Procurement & sourcing
• Inventory and warehouse management
• Production / manufacturing processes
• Order management and logistics

Testing & Implementation

• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Validate system functionality against business requirements
• Support data migration and data validation
• Assist in go-live preparation and hypercare support

Data, Reporting & Integration

• Define reporting requirements (Power BI, embedded reports)
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
• Support integration with external systems (e.g., CRM, WMS, banking systems)

Stakeholder & Delivery Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams
• Support Product Owner / Project Manager in backlog and priorities
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, demos)
• Drive user adoption and training activities

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related field
• 3-8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Strong understanding of finance and/or supply chain business processes
• Experience in requirements gathering and process modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)
• Knowledge of integrations (APIs, Azure services, middleware)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
• D365 F&O certifications (e.g., Finance or Supply Chain modules)
