Native English Speaker - Teacher Assistant

NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER - TEACHER ASSISTANT Nursery and Preschool - Lomianki

Wioska Antypody is looking for a Native English Speaker to join our team as a Teacher Assistant working with children in our nursery and preschool.

We are a small, relationship-based educational setting inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. English is a natural part of children's everyday life with us through play, conversations, routines, outdoor activities, creative projects and trips rather than traditional language lessons.

YOUR ROLE

You will work alongside our teachers and become part of the children's everyday environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• communicating with children naturally in English throughout the day

• supporting teachers in the daily care and education of children

• participating in play, creative activities and projects

• supporting children during meals, dressing, hygiene and everyday routines

• spending time outdoors with the children

• taking part in walks, trips and special events

• helping prepare activities and the learning environment

• supporting children's independence and emotional development

• cooperating closely with the teaching team

This is not only an English teaching position. We are looking for someone who wants to be actively involved in everyday nursery and preschool life and who feels comfortable with both educational and caregiving responsibilities.

• is a native English speaker

• enjoys working with young children

• is warm, patient and emotionally responsive

• is comfortable working with children aged approximately 1-6 years

• respects children's boundaries and individual needs

• is reliable and works well as part of a team

• is open to a relationship-based, child-centred approach

• is comfortable with outdoor activities and trips

Experience in a nursery, preschool, school or childcare setting is very welcome.
