Expert JavaScript Engineer

About the role

Client is the no-code platform that's pioneering a new way for companies to build, deploy, and manage complex, enterprise-grade applications. At this moment, Fortune 100 companies are using Client to create and deliver software without writing a single line of code.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Develop: Design and implement robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, specifically integrated with Unqork’s enterprise no-code/low-code platform
• Database Mastery: Own the data layer. This includes sophisticated Database Modeling, managing complex Database Transactions, and ensuring data integrity across distributed systems
• Data Pipeline Engineering: Build and maintain high-performance ETL processes to move and transform data between disparate systems and our primary data stores
• Performance Tuning: Optimize heavy read/write operations to ensure the application remains responsive under high load
• AI-Augmented Development: Leverage Claude AI and Gemini to accelerate development cycles, automate repetitive coding tasks, and optimize query performance
• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the charge from initial solution design through to automated testing and production support in a fast-paced, agile environment

Requirements

• Backend Expertise: 5+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Unqork Knowledge: Proven experience building or integrating with Unqork backend services and APIs
• Database Deep-Dive: Expert-level knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, including transaction isolation levels, indexing strategies, and schema evolution
• ETL Specialist: Hands-on experience designing and deploying ETL pipelines for large-scale data migrations or integrations
• AI Tooling: Proficiency in using LLMs (like Claude and Gemini) for code generation, debugging, and architectural brainstorming
• DevOps Mindset: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to support our "fast-paced" delivery
