Job Description

• Define and execute the tax technology roadmap with global stakeholders
• Own tax systems end-to-end (design, build, test, deploy, support)
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardize tax processes
• Act as the main point of contact between Tax, Finance, IT, and vendors
• Design and improve solutions across: Indirect tax (VAT, GST, sales & use); Direct tax and tax provisioning; Statutory reporting and compliance; Tax data and controls
• Configure and manage ERP tax setup (tax codes, rules, determination logic)
• Oversee integrations between ERP, tax engines, and data platforms
• Lead fit-gap analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design
• Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, and internal control standards
• Manage vendors and prioritize delivery initiatives
• Oversee testing (UAT, regression, tax validation)
• Support audits and regulatory requirements with system/data insights
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization of tax solutions

The Successful Applicant

• 7+ years of experience in Tax Technology / ERP / consulting
• Strong experience with system implementations and integrations
• Experience across full lifecycle (design → deployment → support)
• Solid tax domain knowledge, including: Indirect tax (VAT, GST); Direct tax / tax provisioning; Compliance and reporting
• Hands‑on experience with ERP tax configuration (e.g., SAP)
• Strong understanding of Finance and system integrations
• Experience working with tax data, analytics, and automation
• Ability to lead initiatives and work cross-functionally
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
