Senior Manager, RGM Analytics

Main Purpose of the Position

Lead the development and deployment of RGM analytics capabilities across the commercial organisation, master advanced analytics solutions, leverage multiple data sources - to deliver strong insights on all RGM levers optimization, from price and promo to assortment optimization by RE. Manage and deploy the strong promo optimization program already in place in France, UK, Italy and Germany - coordinating the CBS RGM Analysts already in place

Responsibilities / Tasks

In store drivers optimization - Price, Promo and Assortment

  • Lead the CBS team dedicated to running post-mortem analysis of past promo events, spanning from promo effectiveness / uplifts in terms of sell out to financial promo performance
  • In line with Brand managers’s strategic intent, identify promo and assortment optimization opportunities e.g. SKU mix, best promo mechanics, customer mix, recommended frequency and discount depth, which promo events to participate, all via strong Analytics
  • Recommend promo guardrails to the commercial team, support KAM Team promo plan simulation via deployment of RGM Promo Playbooks by country
  • Prepare commercial evaluation of key promo Events (e.g. Back to School events)
  • Help Customer Development team with Quarterly / Monthly Account Performance Reviews
  • Provide recommended future promo plans optimised based on modelling
  • With the support of finance, bring visibility of Pricing per sub cat, per retailers (SPI, Mix, promo mix)
  • Leverage Price and Promo studies (price elasticities) to inform most appropriate price decisions, and recommend actions in certain retailers.
  • Translate RASP changes into optimal promo price points (magic price points) respecting legal guidelines
  • Monitor category price and promo strategy changes with commercial teams
  • Help to drive profitable growth via NS/T and ASP realisation minimising volume loss via strong Analytics learning
  • Support commercial team with strong analytics prior each RGM workshops
  • Present to senior stakeholders all commercial findings

Analytics Capability

  • Keep building RGM capabilities promo, portfolio and pricing through advanced capabilities and commercial processes
  • Assess all panel data available (Nielsen, datasharing etc..) and identify how to better integrate and make them more accessible to the team (CeX, CD, Finance..)
  • Manage Price and promo models upgrade, interface with Global Analytics and GIT for tools integration, enhancement, and data visualisation
  • Provide training to build awareness, knowledge & usage of RGM Analytics techniques
  • Attend regular training on RGM Analytics

Requested competencies

  • Master Degree
  • Min 8-10 years Analytics / RGM experience client and/or agency side
  • Business english
  • Excel, Google Suite (Sheets, Slides)
  • Retail Panel data (NIQ / IRI)
  • Financial understanding
  • Python understanding
  • Dashboard / visualization expert
