Senior Accountant

For our Client, an international company, we are currently looking for an experienced professional to join the Finance Team as a Senior Accountant .

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a full accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and accountability.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level) , enabling work with documentation and communication in an international environment.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial company will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations in line with applicable regulations.
• Reconcile and monitor general ledger accounts.
• Prepare reports and statements for external institutions and authorities.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of accounting processes in accordance with Polish Accounting Standards.
• Cooperate with external stakeholders as well as public institutions.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting.
• Process and verify accounting documents, including invoices, bank statements and accruals.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Provide substantive support and guidance to junior team members.
