Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Summary We are looking for a customer-oriented and technically versatile Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology, business, and problem-solving. You will act as a trusted technical partner, moving seamlessly from discovery workshops and solution design to hands-on development, integration, and production deployment. What You Will Do - Partner directly with clients to understand their business goals, operational workflows, technical landscape, and strategic priorities. - Lead discovery sessions and translate complex, often ambiguous business challenges into actionable technical solutions. - Design, prototype, build, and deploy production-grade applications leveraging software engineering, cloud, data, automation, and AI technologies. - Integrate solutions across enterprise systems, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party services to create seamless user experiences. - Collaborate with engineers, architects, data specialists, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive tangible outcomes. - Continuously improve deployed solutions through monitoring, optimization, troubleshooting, and user feedback. - Capture reusable frameworks, implementation patterns, and best practices that accelerate future client engagements and product development. Requirements - 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, technical consulting, implementation, or another customer-facing technical role. - Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a comparable language. - Experience designing and building backend services, APIs, integrations, automation workflows, or full-stack applications. - Practical experience working with databases, data models, and structured or unstructured data. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. - Understanding of modern software development practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and containerized deployments. - Ability to navigate ambiguous business problems and define pragmatic, scalable technical solutions. - Experience working closely with customers, business stakeholders, product owners, or end users. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. - Strong ownership mindset, adaptability, and a passion for solving real-world problems. Nice to have: - Experience deploying AI, Generative AI, LLM, machine learning, or intelligent automation solutions. - Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, AI agents, model evaluation, and prompt engineering. - Experience with data engineering, analytics platforms, pipelines, or MLOps practices. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems. - Background in consulting, professional services, proof-of-concepts, or enterprise digital transformation initiatives. - Experience facilitating workshops, technical discovery sessions, and executive-level solution presentations.
