Your responsibilities

• The Claim & Proof of Delivery (POD) Specialist is responsible for managing transportation-related claims and ensuring timely collection and verification of Proof of Delivery documentation. This role supports accurate billing, minimizes financial exposure, and helps resolve disputes with customers and carriers.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Monitors and manages customer and carrier claims related to transportation, shortages, damages, and service failures
• Collects, verifies, and maintains accurate Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
• Follows up with carriers and drivers to obtain missing or incomplete PODs
• Investigates discrepancies between shipping documents, invoices, and delivery confirmations
• Supports the billing team by providing validated PODs required for invoicing
• Coordinates with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve claims efficiently
• Communicates with customers regarding claim status and required documentation
• Maintains detailed records of claims and resolutions in internal systems (TMS / ERP / CRM)
• Prepares reports on claim trends, missing PODs, and resolution timelines
• Ensures compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements

Our requirements

• Experience in logistics, transportation, claims handling, or accounts receivable
• Understanding of shipping documentation (BOL, POD, invoices, freight documents)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
