Android Engineer (mid-level)

Responsibilities

• Write and ship Android application code and customer-facing features.
• Contribute to backend microservices when needed.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define specifications and deliver high-quality features.
• Own software engineering work across design, implementation, development experience, QA, deployment, and maintenance.
• Work with engineering groups located around the world.

Requirements

• 2-8 years of commercial software development experience.
• Experience developing an Android app.
• Experience with reactive programming on native mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies is beneficial.
• Ability and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Ability to break complex problems into simple solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sense of ownership and pride in work.
