Senior QA Engineer (Reporting Team)

Job Description

Your job will be to develop a part of a distributed system that serves the hospitality industry. It is a

solution that allows hotel employees or hotel managers to handle various activities such as managing

reservations, payments and hotel services within the hotel or between hotels. The system consists of

many domain-oriented microservices developed under a few cross-functional teams. Approximately automation tests 50% +

Key activities include conducting thorough testing - both manual and automated - of implemented

features to validate quality and functionality, identifying and reporting bugs or glitches, analyzing

business objectives and requirements, reviewing product specifications, supporting the design phase,

facilitating effective communication across teams, and translating user stories into test cases with

subsequent test automation.

Responsibilities:

• Write test cases based on user stories

• Write automated test cases and contribute in common C# automation framework

• Performing requirements analysis, documenting and communicating the results of your

efforts

• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans

• Create logs to document testing phases and defects

• Report bugs and errors to development teams

• Help troubleshoot issues

• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development
