Risk Management Specialist with German | Infrastructure Managed Services

Job Summary

Infrastructure Managed Services Team is part of Managed Services Operations in PwC Poland with a comprehensive service offering supporting our clients in preparation, structuring and implementation of infrastructure projects and investments. The team focuses on delivering investment projects through program management, cost control, schedule management, risk management, quality control, document management, construction on‑site support, project controls, contract and claim management, stakeholder management and more. Based in Poland, the team services clients across the EMEA region, with Poland and Germany prioritised.

Responsibilities

• Support client engagements in infrastructure construction management services, focusing on basic risk management tasks for infrastructure investments.
• Assist in the successful delivery of large and complex infrastructure projects by providing support in construction monitoring and project coordination.
• Work closely with project managers (PMO) and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution and communication across stakeholders.
• Contribute to risk‑related activities such as maintaining risk registers, monitoring risks, and preparing simple mitigation actions under guidance.
• Collaborate with experts responsible for cost control, scheduling, and project management, gaining exposure to multiple aspects of project delivery.
• Participate in improving processes and service delivery models to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum B2 proficiency in German and English.
• Engineering degree (civil, infrastructure, or related).
• 2–3 years of experience in infrastructure or construction projects; risk management experience is not required, willingness to learn is key.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and corporate risk concepts (ESG awareness is a plus).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with readiness to cooperate with diverse stakeholders.
• Open to occasional travel and on‑site work at project locations.
• Strong proficiency in using new technologies and AI‑based tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content creation).
