R&D Financial Controller (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Participating in development projects and preparation of the initial product calculation at various stages of development: target costing, product profitability analysis, comparison of actual and target costs
• Preparation of calculations and data for “make or buy” decisions
• Preparation of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in the areas of various projects (new products, savings or innovations projects), R&D laboratory, and local departmental costs
• Ensuring proper reporting for the Business Unit Controlling (located in Germany)
• Validating data accuracy reported on R&D projects
• Preparing analysis of business performance for R&D engineers, project costs absorption
• Verification of hourly rate & time allocation to proper development projects
• Developing reporting tools, modifying, and implementing improvements

Our requirements

• Provide information to R&D managers & division R&D Controller on timely basis
• Become a partner for R&D department to help them to understand and manage their financials
• Cooperate with other departments (production, engineering, purchasing) in Poland and Germany

Optional

• Technical or financial university degree
• Work experience of not less than 3 years (experience in project work will be an advantage)
• Good knowledge of English and/or German - allowing free business communication
• Very good knowledge of MS Office with particular emphasis on MS Excel and Power Point
• Ability to present financial data synthetically and aesthetically
• Knowledge of SAP welcome
• Reliability, responsibility, punctuality, willingness to learn
• Proactive attitude and ability to think analytically and logically
• Systematicity and attention to detail
