At G2A.COM , we are looking for an experienced and highly independent M&A Manager to join us at a pivotal stage in building our M&A and Corporate Development function. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on how we drive inorganic growth across global markets.
This role is for you if you want to take full ownership of transaction processes and lead them end-to-end - from the initial market outreach and opportunity sourcing, through negotiations, to successful deal closing. You will not only execute transactions but also help build the foundations of a newly established M&A function. This means shaping the way we identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions and strategic partnerships across G2A.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with the Executive Team and senior leadership on key investment decisions while helping to create a scalable, repeatable global deal engine that supports the company’s long-term growth strategy.
This role is for you if you want to make a tangible impact on a global business, work close to strategic decision-making, and take full accountability for outcomes - not just for managing the process.
M&A ManagerYour responsibilities:
- Leading M&A processes and strategic partnerships from origination through to closing
- Actively building and developing a global transaction pipeline (opportunity sourcing, relationship building, and networking)
- Managing discussions with founders, business owners, investment banks, private equity and venture capital funds, and external advisors
- Developing and executing transaction strategies, including deal structuring, scenario analysis, and negotiation of key terms
- Coordinating the end-to-end M&A process across all workstreams, including Finance, Legal, Tax, Operations, HR, and Product
- Leading and overseeing financial modeling, valuations, and analyses supporting investment decisions (in collaboration with the analytics team)
- Managing transaction risks and identifying key success factors as well as potential red flags
- Overseeing due diligence processes and post-merger integration (PMI) activities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key external partners, including investment banks, PE and VC funds, and advisory firms
- Preparing recommendations and decision-making materials for the Executive Team
- Managing relationships with investment banks, private equity funds, venture capital funds, and external advisors
- Leading post-merger integration initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition and maximizing business synergies
You're a perfect match for the role, if:
- You have 5–7+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A advisory, or corporate development
- You have been involved in the full transaction lifecycle (origination → execution → closing → integration)
- You have experience leading or co-leading buy-side M&A processes
- You are capable of independently managing complex transaction processes in environments with limited support structures
- You have a strong understanding of valuation, financial modeling, and deal structuring mechanics
- You are confident in negotiating with founders, investors, and senior stakeholders.
- You possess strong business acumen, combining quantitative analysis with strategic and market assessment
- You thrive in international environments and have experience with cross-border transactions
- You demonstrate an ownership mindset, taking responsibility for initiatives from start to finish without relying on extensive operational support structures
- You are fluent in both Polish and English
- You are able to effectively leverage AI-powered tools and large language models for research, analysis, and information processing in a practical, hands-on manner rather than as merely supportive tools
Your additional assets will include:
- Experience in digital platforms, marketplaces, gaming, and fintech
- Strong understanding of the global digital goods and gaming ecosystem
- Buy-side experience in transactions
- End-to-end deal execution experience, including post-merger integration
- An established network of founders, investors, and advisors
- Experience with complex deal structures (minority investments, joint ventures, strategic partnerships)
- Exposure to international markets
