Your responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Work Instructions for manufacturing, assembly, kitting, inspection, packing and material movements, working directly with operators, and team leaders
  • Convert existing tribal knowledge and process steps into standardised WI formats, ensuring clarity, version control and traceability.
  • Produce visual process diagrams (e.g., process flow, swim-lane, decision trees, workstation layouts) to support training and error-proofing.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate first drafts of WIs and visuals, then validate and refine content with subject matter experts before release.
  • Capture best practice photos/screenshots and develop simple visual standards for consistent WI presentation (icons, step formatting, callouts, do/don’t examples).
  • Ensure Work Instructions reflect actual process conditions and are aligned to quality requirements, safety controls, and relevant standards.
  • Support reviews and audits of documentation (e.g., scheduled WI review cadence), ensuring outdated documents are removed and replacements are communicated.
  • Collaborate with CI / Lean activity to identify opportunities to simplify steps, reduce variation, and improve visual management at point of use.
  • Support training deployment by working with stakeholders to ensure new/updated WIs are communicated, accessible, and used on the shopfloor.
  • Maintain WI libraries (SharePoint/Teams or other approved systems), including document control fields (owner, revision, effective date).
  • Comply with all applicable company policies, work instructions, and Health & Safety regulations while carrying out duties.
  • Carry out any reasonable task which falls within your capabilities.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, Quality, or a related discipline (or graduating imminently).
  • Fluent Polish and good working English (spoken and written).
  • Preferred: experience (university projects, placement, internship) involving standard work, process mapping, documentation, or visual management.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Lean / CI concepts (5S, standard work, waste reduction).

To support the Łódź manufacturing facility by creating, updating and maintaining clear, standardised Work Instructions (WIs) and visual process documentation. The role will use AI-enabled tools (within company-approved guardrails) to accelerate drafting of Work Instructions, convert process knowledge into easy-to-follow visual diagrams, and improve the accessibility and consistency of shopfloor documentation. This is a 12-month fixed-term graduate position focused on improving safety, quality, training effectiveness, and standard work adoption.
