We are looking for a  Junior Software Engineer (m/f/d)to join our Sea Logistics IT team. You will help develop our global forwarding platform and grow your engineering skills in an environment that embraces AI ‑ augmented development.

You will learn how to write high ‑ quality code, collaborate with experienced engineers, and gradually adopt AI ‑ supported development practices.

How you create impact

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of new features with guidance from senior colleagues. 
• Write clean, maintainable code and learn to take ownership of your work. 
• Use AI tools effectively to enhance productivity in development, testing and debugging. 
• Participate in pair/mob programming and team discussions. 
• Continuously develop your engineering skills and understanding of Sea Logistics domain. 

What we would like you to bring

• Engineering Foundation: Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) or relevant practical experience.
• Core Skills: Solid understanding of Java and object‑oriented programming.
• Frontend (Nice to Have): Basic knowledge of Angular or motivation to learn it.
• AI Curiosity: Strong interest in AI‑augmented development and willingness to learn modern workflows.
• Technical Stack: Java, Spring, Hibernate, testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber), relational databases, build/automation tools (Maven, Git, Jenkins). Experience with Docker is a plus.
• Agile Mindset: Openness to collaboration, communication, and iterative development.
• Language: Fluent written and spoken English.
