Procurement Specialist with German

Your responsibilities
- PR to PO (Direct & Indirect in SAP)
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment
- Monitor and follow-up on open orders, including GR (Goods Receipt) booking reminders
- Maintain and update material master data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supplier registration and qualification
- Managing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluating supplier proposals, and assisting in negotiation processes to ensure competitive and high‑quality procurement outcomes.
Our requirements
- Proficient in business English (B2/C1) and German (B2/C1).
- At least 2 years of experience in operational procurement/SCM area
- Excellent communication skills and team work spirit
- Customer focus with proactive attitude
- Negotiation skills will be an asset
- Hands-on experience with SAP / SAP Ariba would be an asset
- Advanced Excel skills would be an asset

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.
The work model for the role is: hybrid (8 office days per month).
This role is contributing to the Procurement Team in EUOPC (European Operation Center).
