About the project, We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead initiatives within the banking sector focused on Data Governance, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Big Data/AI solutions. The person in this role will manage project delivery in accordance with bank project management standards and established best practices, coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors while maintaining rigorous documentation and reporting.

Your responsibilities, Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and changes in alignment with organisational project management standards., Oversee resources, stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of project milestones., Coordinate and lead multi-stream project teams, promoting effective collaboration across technical and business domains., Organise, moderate and drive status meetings and other key project forums to ensure clear communication and decision-making., Prepare and present status reports and presentations that track progress against objectives and highlight key risks and remedies., Supervise and maintain high-quality project documentation and deliverables; create and update project artefacts as required.

Minimum 6 years’ experience managing data-related projects with demonstrable involvement in one or more of the following domains: Data Governance, Business Intelligence (BI) implementations, Data Warehousing, Big Data / AI initiatives., Proven experience interacting with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders., University degree; preferred fields include Finance, Banking, Data Science or Computer Science., Strong expertise in project management methodologies; relevant certifications or postgraduate studies are advantageous., Very good command of English, both written and spoken, sufficient for documentation and meetings conducted in English., Knowledge of data security and related security topics is considered a plus., Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a structured and analytical mindset, and strong organisational attention to detail., Capacity to work independently under time pressure, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and take ownership with high levels of commitment and accountability., Resilience and ability to perform effectively in a dynamic project environment.
