Expert Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience in developing and maintaining ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platform Snowflake
• Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems
• Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL scripts to implement business rules and data transformation logic
• Implement data validation and data quality checks within ETL processes
• Knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling
• Manage changes and deployments activities
• Perform database maintenance activities, including index, query optimization and performance tuning
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Proven experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL package development and maintenance
• Practical experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling
• Hands-on knowledge of Git or other version control systems
• Experience working with Snowflake cloud data platform
• Ability to implement data validation and data quality controls within ETL processes
• Experience in database maintenance, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written
