GL Accountant (M/F)

We are currently looking for a GL Accountant to join an international organization and support its General Ledger accounting processes.

GL Accountant (M/F)

Your responsibilities:

• Performing day-to-day General Ledger accounting activities
• Participating in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
• Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals and provisions
• Performing balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Supporting fixed assets accounting and intercompany reconciliations
• Reviewing and analysing General Ledger accounts
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting data
• Cooperating with other finance teams and internal stakeholders
• Supporting audits and providing required documentation
• Participating in process improvements and optimization initiatives

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional experience in General Ledger 
• Good understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing processes
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• English at a minimum B2 level, allowing effective communication in an international environment
• Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Willingness to learn and develop within the accounting area
