Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing business processes, workflow automation, content management, and AI-driven capabilities. In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into scalable, efficient, and user-centric solutions. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and process analysis to solution design, testing, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to case management, workflow automation, and content/document management.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to understand current processes and future needs.
• Model business processes using BPMN and translate them into workflow specifications for BPM platforms.
• Create functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and define opportunities for AI adoption, including document classification, information extraction, and decision-support use cases.
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support backlog management, requirements refinement, and sprint planning activities within Agile teams.
• Assist in UAT planning and execution, ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations.
• Drive process optimization initiatives and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in complex IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and requirements management practices.
• Hands-on experience with BPMN and business process modeling.
• Ability to create clear and structured functional documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to bridge business and technical perspectives and effectively translate requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and process-improvement capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BPM and ECM platforms such as IBM BAW, IBM FileNet, Camunda, Pega, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of workflow automation and enterprise content management concepts.
• Experience within financial services, insurance, public sector, or other highly regulated industries.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and enterprise application architecture.
• Familiarity with AI/GenAI solutions and experience identifying AI-driven business opportunities.
• Exposure to digital transformation or process modernization initiatives.
