Your responsibilities

• Establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system in line with applicable aviation quality standards
• Conducting internal audits and managing the non-conformance and corrective-action process
• Ensuring every SW-51 produced conforms to the approved design
• Oversight of production acceptance testing in accordance with the applicable acceptance standard
• Maintaining conformity documentation for each serial number
• Defining and controlling the baseline configuration of the SW-51
• Managing the engineering change process in coordination with the Head of Design
• Ensuring traceability between design, components and suppliers, and production for each serial number
• On top of the operational role above, the Airworthiness Manager / Head of Safety takes on an additional responsibility within the US MOSAIC programme. MOSAIC (Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certificates) is the Federal Aviation Administration framework under which the SW-51 is to be approved. In this dual role, the Airworthiness Manager acts as the independent compliance authority who demonstrates and documents that the quality, configuration, and safety system meets the requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and who leads that relationship on the compliance side.

Our requirements

• Background in aviation quality systems, aerospace engineering, safety management, or a comparable regulatory compliance function in general aviation or light aircraft
• Experience in an aviation quality, compliance, or airworthiness environment (light aircraft, general aviation, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of quality management, configuration management, safety management principles, and certification processes
