Our client is looking for an experienced Animator to join their team and support the development of high-quality PC and console projects.
This role is a strong fit for someone with a solid animation background, advanced technical understanding of animation pipelines, and the ability to support both internal teams and external partners. You will work closely with Animation Leads, Technical Art, production teams, and vendors to improve workflows, solve complex pipeline challenges, and ensure animation systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with project needs.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on animation craft with technical problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to guide others through production and pipeline-related challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and improvement of animation pipelines, systems, and workflows.
- Integrate animation assets and workflows into Unreal and proprietary engines.
- Evaluate and improve the efficiency and quality of animation pipelines, systems, and outsourcing workflows.
- Build high-quality animation reference boards to support project-specific animation direction.
- Support both hand-keyed and motion-capture animation workflows across multiple creation packages.
- Troubleshoot complex animation and pipeline issues during production.
- Support the rollout of process changes from Art Leads to the core motion team.
- Keep project management tools, such as Jira, organized and up to date.
- Proactively demonstrate new workflows, pipeline improvements, and more efficient production approaches.
- At least 4 years of professional animation experience in game development.
- Advanced technical understanding of animation pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Strong knowledge of Maya.
- Experience with pipeline development and engine integration.
- Experience with both hand-keyed and motion-capture animation.
- Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools.
- Strong English communication skills and ability to work with leads, artists, technical teams, production, and external vendors.
- Ability to provide clear feedback and practical solutions for complex art and animation challenges.
