Business Analyst / Associate – Pricing Strategy
About us
We are Valueships, a consulting firm focused on increasing the top-line revenue and profitability. We believe that most companies have at least 10% of unleveraged margin potential, and we help to unlock it. We're most known for our pricing, value strategy, and monetization work. Our ideal customer profiles are tech companies: AI, software-as-a-service (SaaS), subscription models (XaaS) and custom software development.
Why choose Valueships?
If you want to join a project about building a new consulting company and become our Partner one day , this is the place for you;
If you've ever found yourself questioning the mainstream business narrative , you’ll probably like it here;
By joining Valueships, you will engage in exciting and fulfilling work that supports the growth of innovative companies through pricing transformation;
You will develop top-notch consulting skills and establish a unique expertise in tech pricing;
Moreover, you will become an integral part of our highly collaborative and friendly community;
At Valueships, we prioritize excellence in our work without overwhelming our consultants. We offer remote work opportunities, purposeful travel and value our team members' time for personal and family life.
We value a "can-do" approach as one of our core principles. It reflects our team's dedication to getting the job done, even when it takes a little extra effort. If you see roadblocks and immediately think about how to overcome them, you might fit in perfectly here!
What we require from our team members:
Extreme ownership – you need to own your job, responsibilities, and most importantly, the client's best interest,
Proactively giving and receiving radically candid feedback from colleagues and clients,
Learning curiosity – if you don't like to know, read, and gain new knowledge, then you might not like our place,
Demonstrating enthusiasm, proactivity, interest, and self-motivation,
Relentlessly pursuing high-quality work, even or especially considering the current AI revolution (we want you to be on top of the trends!)
Collaborating as a team player, being ready to roll up sleeves and contribute as needed,
Promoting Valueships' key values like Whatever It Takes, Extreme Ownership, Growth Requires Friction, Psychological Safety, Radical Candor, Trusted Advisory and Humble Meritocracy.
As a Business Analyst / Junior Associate at Valueships, you will support the execution of monetization and pricing projects that help our clients unlock their growth potential. In this role, you will assist in delivering strategic insights, contributing to pricing and value-based decisions, and collaborating with clients in sectors such as AI, software-as-a-service (SaaS), subscription models (XaaS) and custom software development. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow while working on impactful projects in a supportive environment.
Requirements:
0–2 years of relevant consulting experience would be great; experience as a Business Analyst or Market Researcher is also highly valued;
Enthusiasm for pricing and monetization is essential; direct professional experience or training in pricing is a valuable asset; in other words, at junior level we’ll teach you pricing from scratch — and if you already know the domain, we’ll reward that;
Willing to travel occasionally when a project genuinely calls for it; day to day we work remotely;
We need people who are fluent in English (at least B2/C1).
